Test cricket returns along with the good weather, we hope, and we should see England stroll to a comprehensive victory in their series with Sri Lanka.

The English are not at full strength but should still have enough for a visiting side who are still in transition after the retirement of Sanath Jayasuriya and a serious injury to his successor as captain Marvan Atapattu.

If you  are looking for a shock then bear in mind that Sri Lanka have fallen from fourth to seventh in the Test list and they have won just two Tests in 24 years away from home apart from victories over Zimbabwe.

We can’t see that changing and will be going heavy on an England victory.
