The novelty betting interest continues to grow thanks to the amount of coverage the TV channels devote to reality TV.
X-Factor, which goes head to head with Strictly Come Dancing each week, gets the lions share of punters interest and with just seven contestants left, now gets interesting from a betting perspective.
Betterbet.com have priced up the market with the two Scottish entries Nikitta and The MacDonald Brothers dismissed as 66-1 outsiders. The MacDonald Brothers are this years Chico – bad but popular and Simon Cowell’s constant criticism of them seems to be working for them as they get the sympathy vote. Whilst they are not going to win – they could yet survive a couple more weeks - so the 66-1 looks of interest from a trading perspective.
Betterbet have Ben 6-5 favourite and Leonna at 7-4 which makes it around 1-5 that one of them will win – but Eton Road at 11-4 is the recommended bet at this stage. They are definitely improving each week and will prove popular with the voting public both young, old and especially the female market alike. Four young lads from Liverpool….. where have we heard that before !
