The Amir Khan roadshow moves up to Glasgow with the Bolton boxer continuing his professional career in front of the cameras at the Braehead Arena.

Two wins in two pro fights has done little more than show the Olympic silver medallist has potential but such is his charisma, the Scottish fans have flocked to pack out the 6000 capacity arena.

Khan’s opponent Steve Gethen is but a journeyman and 100/1 on for the Lancashire lad to win with William Hills is ridiculous. Khan to stop him in round 4, the final round, at 4/1 is acceptable.

The other big fight on the night offers potentially more excitement. Nedal Hussein doesn’t seem to have much of a chance when he meets Scott Harrison for the latter’s WBO world featherweight title.

But the Australian has all the attributes to trouble the predictable Scot and at 8/1 with William Hills for a points win is great odds for a two horse race.
